Voriconazole (Voritic) is an antifungal drug. It is used to treat infections caused by some fungi. It works by preventing fungi from producing a substance called ergosterol. Voritic ( Voriconazole ) can be safely used in adults and children above 2 years of age to treat serious fungal infections such as invasive aspergillosis, esophageal candidiasis and candidemia. It is also used to treat certain other fungal infections when other medications will not work for certain patients.
